Regional national-cultural autonomy of the Tatars of the Nizhny Novgorod region

The non-profit organization RNCATNO was officially registered by the Office of the Federal Tax Service for the Nizhny Novgorod Region in 2004.

As stated in paragraph 1 of the charter, the Regional National Cultural Autonomy of the Tatars of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (RNCATNO) is a form of national and cultural self-determination and voluntary self-organization of Tatars — citizens of the Russian Federation who consider themselves to be a certain ethnic community of Tatars, to address issues of preserving identity, native language and national culture
